Work With a Chick-fil-A Operator The Operator is an independent business person, responsible for the operation of the Restaurant, who invests time in his or her employees, teaching them important business skills for the future. Leadership Opportunities Get the chance to grow your leadership skills by selecting, evaluating and managing people; assessing key business metrics and setting goals; evaluating, managing and allocating capital for business improvements; and receiving individualized coaching around professional growth opportunities Team members can work in either the front of house (guest environment) or back of house (production environment). Guest environment roles include cashier, face-to-face ordering in the drive-through, taking orders over headset, preparing desserts, preparing beverages, taking payment and giving out orders in the drive-through window, bagging orders, serving orders in the dining room, and keeping the dining room clean as well as providing Second Mile Service for guests by making personal connections and making sure they have everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience. Production environment roles include assembling sandwiches, boxing nuggets and strips, prepping buns, operating fryers, preparing waffle fries, breading chicken, prepping salads, lemonades, tomatoes, lettuce, and a variety of other items, and working as support to these other positions.
