Job Title: Program Manager (Business Development with DoD and Federal Entities)


(Three or four positions available: One individual for the state of Colorado; one in each region of the USA: East Coast / Mid-USA / West Coast – possible position in the Carolinas or Georgia)

Job Description:


URETEK USA has the need for a dynamic Program Manager.  This is a ground-breaking opportunity, where the individual will be responsible for business development, building relationships, and marketing URETEK solutions to the DoD and Federal markets and expansion into civilian airports. Three individuals (must have access to DoD facilities) are required; one for each of the regions listed.  The ideal candidate will have planning and strategy experience, business development and capture experience, customer relationships and/or knowledge of facilities operations, and outstanding management, organization, budget, and communication skills.  The candidate will coordinate and manage all business development activities focused in their region.   The candidate will introduce URETEK USA to customers to build relationships and educate customers on the uses of URETEK technology.  Furthermore, the candidate will assist in developing a business growth strategy for their region, manage a business pipeline, and conduct business development and capture activities (e.g. win strategy, teaming, white-paper development, trade shows, etc.) for DoD, Federal, and select airports in their region.  


Responsibilities and Skills:




  1. Central point of contact for all military and federal entities within the region. (Colorado individual will also be responsibility to connect with State, county, city, and Department of Transportation authorities)




  2. Highly motivated to succeed.




  3. Ability to engage and collaborate within a matrixed, multi-disciplined environment.




  4. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple business development activities across multiple customers.




  5. Excellent in oral and written communication skills – develop and provide presentations and briefings from mid through executive level customers (clients, engineering, geotechnical firms, and other companies as identified).




  6. Marketing, pipeline and proposal experience.




  7. Foster and maintain customer relationships, and regularly interface with them to shape and win new business.




  8. Assist to write, rewrite and/or edit proposals and other technical customer marketing material.




  9. Lead and/or participate in capture review teams such as Customer Value Propositions, Back Hats, Gold, Pink, and Red Team Reviews.




  10.  Maintain currency in/of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.




  11.  Prepare estimates and submit proposals.




  12. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.




  13. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing, professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.




  14. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for region.




  15. Perform other tasks and missions as identified or directed.


     




This position requires a can-do, proactive, tenacious attitude from a self-motivated, team player who can work independently with little supervision.


Travel approximately 50% for first six months, then approximately 25%, as required.


Key Qualifications:




  1. US citizen [Required]




  2. Access to military facilities (e.g. military retired, dependent) [Required].




  3. Good, positive, can-do attitude.




  4. Strong presentation, written, and negotiation skills.




  5. Live near a major airport and/or major military installation(s).




  6. Good skills with MS Office suite.




  7. Some capture experience on a variety of opportunities including a relevant mix of program types, complexities, products, technologies and customers.




  8. Ability to convey complex, technical information effectively and succinctly in written form.




  9. Good time and project management skills.




  10.  Ability to work harmoniously with the operations team.




  11.  Must have and maintain a current driver’s license.




Desired Qualifications:




  1. Experience running and tracking diverse, geographically dispersed teams and/or operations.




  2. Programmatic background with experience dealing with multiple contract types.




  3. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.




  4. Facilities operations or maintenance, logistics, budgeting, contracting, or engineering experience.




  5. Marketing experience.




  6. QA/QC training and/or experience.




 


Compensation:


Base salary plus commissions (unlimited), expense account, 401k (3-5%)


Training and Work Environment:


The potential candidate will receive initial and on-going training at company expense.  Initial training will be approximately two weeks in the Houston, Texas area.  Individuals will be required to work in an office environment and go to field locations (outside) during training and when operating/working in their region.  



Primary Location: Within selected region of the USA: East Coast / Mid-USA / West Coast – near major airport

Travel: Yes, estimated to be 50% first six months, 25% thereafter
Schedule: Full-time
