The Seattle Times is seeking “Single-Copy” Newspaper Delivery Drivers to join our Bothell print facility team! As the leading media organization and daily newspaper provider in the Northwest, we invite you to help make our “daily miracle” a reality. The Single-Copy Delivery Driver successfully delivers multiple newspaper products in a company-supplied van to retail outlets, as well as vending machines, hotels, and schools, to ensure our readers have convenient access to print news, every morning.
We offer retention bonuses, in addition to hourly pay of $15.10 per hour (which increases by $1/hour after one year of service). A retention bonus of $500 is offered after 1,000 hours worked, as well! And… benefits (including health, dental, and PTO) included!
Applicants must be able to pass a controlled substances drug screen (including marijuana) and physical capacities test.
· Must have clean driving record over the last three years, no at-fault accidents. Must be able/willing to provide driving abstract.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid Washington State Driver’s license.
· Strong math skills (tested at time of interview).
· Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and vendors.
· Able to lift, load, and unload 30-pound newspaper bundles.
SHIFT: Nights, weekends, and holidays, five various days Monday through Sunday from 12:00am to 9:00am.
