Job description

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

A)     Researches unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.

B)      Monitors and analyzes strategic and operational intelligence information.

C)      Provides research support for analysts who produce Intelligence Community reports and briefings.

D)     May serve as a client liaison and coordinates with sub-contractors, government personnel, and technical experts.

E)      Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and/or leaders in the U. S. civilian intelligence community.

F)      Present assessments to intelligence community.

G)     May assist with development and maintenance of analytical policies and procedures.


Minimum Qualifications:


A)     Candidate must hold a current TS/SCI Level Security Clearance (Previously granted and never revoked or suspended). 

B)      Associate’s Degree OR four years direct relevant experience

C)      At least four years analytical experience at the tactical/operational level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies and requires former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or equivalent such as USMC – 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF –1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst

D)     Special skills or qualifications (all required):

a.       Proficient in utilizing standard MS computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development

b.      Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills

c.       Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical intelligence team

d.      Strong briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate information to senior members of the intelligence community

E)      In addition to the above, the following are Highly Desired qualifications and/or experience that are NOT required:

a.       Bachelor’s Degree in Middle East regional geopolitical science

b.      Experience in either Afghanistan, Iraq regional issues or military intelligence analysis

F)      Candidate must meet all physical, medical and other requirements for overseas deployment in accordance with current DoD regulations. Candidate must possess a fitness level appropriate to performing work in a field environment and current medical exam completed within the past 12 months. Candidate must have been tested and present proof of a negative HIV test result performed within six months of deployment. Dental and medical readiness must be up to date and candidate must maintain a current US Passport.
