We are looking for a mechanic who wants job stability that will lead them to retirement. Is that you?
It is you if: You are dependable, show up to work on time, able to troubleshoot and complete repairs that last.

What you mean to us:  You are skilled to repair and maintain all manner of our equipment ranging from forklifts, heavy equipment, cranes, generator sets (15kw to 200kw), tractors, containers and refrigeration equipment. This position is a Safety Sensitive position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
     * Journey level mechanic with at least 4 years related experience.
     * AA certificate from college or vocational/technical school preferred.
     * CFR 82 subpart F certification related to EP approved handling of Freon products.
     * Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.

A post conditional offer of employment physical, drug test and background investigation are required.  Random drug testing is required of all Alaska Marine Lines employees.
