Job description



Education:   High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and/or work/military experience.


Training and Experience:   

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds short distances. 

  • Must meet the requirements outlined in the Department of Defense Directive 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management, August 11, 2015, and DoD Publication 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.  Work is primarily conducted at the IAT-II with some IAM-1 functions.

  • Certification(s) must remain current throughout the contract period of performance with no lapse in recertification.


Computer Skills:  Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Security Clearance:  Must maintain a Secret level security clearance.



Troubleshoot and install a variety of internal and external devices. 

Track automation assets including warranty issues and provide updates to the COR.  Use GCCS-A and other automated procedures to account for IT equipment including receiving, lateral transfers, new issues and turn-ins. 

Track and maintain constant accountability of mobile IT communications devices within the organization. Provide direct customer assistance with telecommunications systems including video conferencing systems, Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol Telephone systems, cellular telephones, and traditional telephone systems. 

Provide orientation and training for all users to learn and understand the information and communications systems utilized within the command supporting operational requirements with minimal oversight and distractions of co-workers. Also provide training and written documentation for command-standard software applications and packages. 

Conduct application implementation, documentation, and maintaining the unit web, internet, intranet, AKO, and collaboration sites. Create new Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) documents and modify existing HTML documents. Assist customers with creation of HTML documents, including graphics integral to those documents. Load files and manage directory structures to ensure appropriate operation and isolation of separate application areas. Familiar with the status of Internet and WWW policies and positions of USAACE, TRADOC, United States Army, and Department of Defense. Maintains contact with appropriate personnel and offices to ensure sites remain in concert with USAACE, TRADOC, Army and Department of Defense programs, directions and goals relative to the Internet.  Remain current with trends and technology shifts relative to those of the WWW and tests/upgrades new software upgrade packages used in the creation of web sites and applications that run across the Web. Maintain proficiency in a variety of software browsers including Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer, installation and configuration of same. Understand Internet and WWW functionality and keeps abreast of changes in standards. Develop documentation to reflect standards and operating procedures.

 Perform daily on-site operational and sustainment support for installed classroom audiovisual equipment (hardware, software and ancillary and associated items of equipment to include networking and video teletraining (VTT)) for TRADOC ECP classrooms. Daily on-site operational and sustainment support includes: 

Daily and weekly sustainment reporting requirements shall be captured via the on-line TRADOC ECP Repository. CS Personnel shall provide status reporting of daily activities, recurring or significant issues, classroom Maintenance/Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services and issues resolved relative to specified contractual tasks.  Maintain on a daily basis a log of performed tasks, customer requests, and known issues. 

Perform one time per month preventive maintenance of each installed TRADOC ECP classroom audiovisual equipment, and additional maintenance/tasks as directed or as required by the contract Performance Work Statement. 

Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
