Job description

Fiber Splicer


Cannon Companies is looking to add new team members to our Communications Division. We are looking for qualified applicants with a telecommunications cabling background. Positions to remain open until filled.

Splicer Requirements:


1.     Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the field


2.     Be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Screening and Criminal Background Check


3.     Have a clean driving record and valid Driver's License


4.     Be willing to travel


5.     Be willing to work flexible hours (days/nights)


6.     Have a positive attitude and be highly motivated


Description of Work Involved:


1.     Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment


2.     Proficient in all types of terminating, splicing, and testing both inside and outside plant


3.     Telecom certifications are a HUGE plus


Individuals with direct or related job experience are encouraged to apply.


Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license


Must have 2 valid forms of ID (driver's license, social security card, birth certificate, passport), we use E-verify to check your right to work in the US


Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check


Must have at least 2 verifiable references
