Job description



Education:       Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field.


Training and Experience:    A minimum of two (2) years’ experience, within the last 7 years, in the operation of the E-2 and/or C-2 (either aircraft or simulator); or a minimum of two (2) years’ experience working on revision and maintenance of E-2 and/or C-2 courseware within the last five years.


Skills:   Possess excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills; handle multiple tasks; flexible in work assignments; and work with little to no supervision. 


Computer Skills:    Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.




  • Review all courseware and training materials for commonalities, efficiencies, and deficiencies; then make recommendations.


  • Assess training, syllabus, and mission scenarios, to ensure courseware and training documents reflect current tactics, techniques, and procedures and are the most effective means of execution.


  • Provides technical assistance and aircraft system operating expertise in developing and correcting content.


  • Provide subject matter and training knowledge expertise in development and testing of new aircrew training devices (simulators, cockpit procedure trainers and desk-top training aids). 


  • Assist in projects and development work as assigned.


  • Maintains a high level of subject knowledge, capability and expertise.


  • Attend meetings (i.e. scheduling, standardization, phase head, safety systems working groups, intelligence updates, aircraft systems, weapons tactics briefings and conferences).


  • Conduct, at a minimum, quarterly curriculum test item analysis to measure the accuracy of test items and report findings.


  • Provide analysis of existing testing instruments and recommend changes to improve training baseline and measure proficiency of training objectives.


  • Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
