Job description

Work Schedule:

Grant funded position through approximately June 2023 with possibility of continuation. PT; 20 hours per week; Monday-Friday; some evenings and weekends may be required. This position may require travel to clinical sites (up to 15%). 

General Description:     

The Clinical Project Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support and management of PLU School of Nursing (SoN) graduate projects and outreach. Reports to the HRSA Grant Program Coordinator.

 Essential Functions and Responsibilities:            

• Coordinate with the Clinical Placement Coordinator for identification of DNP project sites and community partners.

• Provide administrative support for paperwork related to the DNP projects.

• Coordinate meetings of the DNP Project Chairs.

• Coordinate with local community groups for Community Based Clinics.

• Facilitate the implementation of the integrated primary care model within a wellness clinic and monitor its effectiveness.

• Establish and maintain tracking mechanisms necessary for reporting grant activities.

• Responsible for continuing education development, data collection, and data analysis to ensure compliance with the CCNE.

• Work with SoN administration, Continuing Education personnel, ANEW Grant personnel, faculty, and administrative support staff to coordinate and implement grant-related activities.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:              

• Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize frequently changing needs.

• Ability to work well under pressure and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.

• Knowledge of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Ability to demonstrate good judgment and discretion as well as working with people at all levels.

Required Qualifications:             

1. Master’s degree in Nursing or higher.

2. Experience with evaluation metrics, data collection, and data analysis.

3. Ability to drive to clinical sites.

4. Finalist applicants must satisfactorily complete pre-employment background check. 

Preferred Qualifications:            

• Experience in project development.

• APRN preferred. 

Work Conditions:           

• Office setting.

• Frequent interruptions.

• Long periods of sitting and keyboarding required.
