The main campus of Tacoma Community College is located on 150 acres upon which are located over 30 buildings with a total area exceeding 479,000 square feet. Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, just south of Seattle, uniquely nestled between the Olympic mountain range and Mount Rainier. This college occupies one 13,000 square foot satellite campus building in scenic Gig Harbor. Perform general duty security work including the enforcement of laws and ordinances, maintain order, prevent and investigate crime and protect the health and safety of the campus community. This position works under the supervision of the Campus Security Supervisor.

Terms of Employment
This is for 2 part time hourly positions scheduled to work up to 17 hours per week. Hours worked may occur at either Tacoma Community College campus (Main and Gig Harbor). The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet the needs of the department. A collective bargaining agreement exists and membership in the Washington Federation of State Employees or payment of a service fee may be required.
