Job description


Our client is seeking candidates with accounting experience for an opportunity in New York City, New York. The role is to provide quality administrative and financial services to the project, and assist in any associated financial reporting. 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the timely and accurate data entry process for all subcontracts, subcontractor applications, change orders, general conditions and expense reports.

  • Proof all batches to ensure accuracy and distribute to the accountant for final review and authorization/approval to post.

  • Assist accountant in preparation of application for payment.

  • Assist accountant in the preparation/maintenance of all financial reports associated with the project.



  • BS in Accounting, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

  • Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles i.e. journal entries, general ledger, etc.

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, good work ethic and interpersonal skills.
