Looking for a seamstress, tailor, or veteran parachute rigger to join our custom design shop. Sewing experience is an absolute must. The ability to conceptualize and draft by hand patterns for simple bags and pouches is a plus. Our ideal candidate will also have knowledge of military gear, but this is not required. We're looking for creativity and attention to detail with excellent customer service skills.
Working under the direction of the retail store manager and senior sewing team members, tasks will include cutting material and sewing from CAD or hand-drawn patterns, taking customer orders at the service window, and general work area cleanup.
This is an active position that requires self-motivation and the ability to quickly change from one task to the next based on customer needs.
Monday through Friday 9:30 am to 6 pm with rotating Saturdays 10-2.
Pay is DOE with review and benefits offered after 90 days.
